Based in Cambridgeshire, providing reliable location sound services for film, video, documentary and commercial productions. Building experience, expanding my portfolio and working towards a career in production sound.
Based in Cambridgeshire, I provide location sound recording for film, video, documentary and commercial productions. With experience in broadcast and location recording for local radio, I’m building my portfolio and developing my skills within the wider production sound industry. Reliable, adaptable and committed to capturing clean, usable audio on location.
My passion for sound and media started from a young age. After studying A-Level Media Studies, I became involved in local radio, initially behind the microphone presenting shows before developing my skills in location sound and production.
For nearly four years, I've toured with international tribute artists, travelling across the continent and gaining valuable experience working in live entertainment and production environments. Alongside this, my work in local radio has given me the opportunity to provide location sound for interviews with artists including Jack Savoretti, Toploader, Shalamar and the Scissor Sisters.
Now based in Cambridgeshire, I’m continuing to build on that experience and develop my career in location and production sound. I’m passionate about capturing clean, natural audio and enjoy the technical and creative challenges that come with recording on location.
Always Learning, Always Improving
This website, much like my career in sound, is very much a work in progress. I’m constantly learning, experimenting and looking for new ways to improve my skills and understanding of the industry.
I’m always open to advice, constructive criticism, tips and tricks from people with more experience than me. Whether it’s a small piece of practical advice, a different way of approaching a recording, or simply a lesson learned from someone else’s experience, I genuinely enjoy learning from those around me.
There’s still a lot I want to learn and plenty of areas I’d like to develop, but that’s one of the things I love about working in sound — there’s always something new to discover. I’m excited to keep building my experience, meeting new people and seeing where the journey takes me.
